A Pathway Leading You
In A New Direction
What is Traumatic Incident reduction?
Traumatic incident reduction is modality that is unlike any other type of therapy or counselling. It is client centered and a gentle, unique method of treatment that quickly and permanently eliminates the unwanted effects of negative experiences. TIR is evidence based, recognized by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, and the National Registry of Evidence Based Programs and Practices. TIR is a direct exposure method, assisting us to put order into our thoughts so we can put order into our lives. Find out more about TIR here: www.tira.org
Who is TIR for?
Anyone who desires to eliminate unwanted feelings, emotions, sensations, attitudes and pains. TIR gives us new insights and peace. If something is holding you back, playing over and over in your mind or if you can’t seem to move forward from something that is blocking you, TIR may be what you are looking for. There is a reason these things happen to you, and you continue to be triggered. It is likely you have not resolved something from the past. TIR helps people to move forward with their lives and put their thoughts in order.

Hold Us From Moving Forward
How is TIR different from counselling and other therapies?
The client finds his or her own answers through a list of powerful questions, and through deep listening without any judgement, reaction or interruption. Sessions have no length, they end when the client has reached their end point for that day, they are always left in a somewhat better place.
TIR for children and teens
If we do not address trauma and other difficult situations affecting children while they are young, then these adverse experiences will continue to affect them as adults. Toxic stress and trauma can alter a child’s brain chemistry.
Working with kids can change their lives forever.
Resolving trauma in the young can help to positively change a generation, and even reduce the impact of trauma on future generations.
